Draft for review — not yet effective
This draft describes features present in the Sparq app's development code. Tech Harbor must confirm the released app's features, service providers, retention periods, and deletion process before this policy is finalized or used for an app-store submission.
Information Sparq may process
- Account information, such as your email address and authentication information, when you create an account.
- Planning details you provide, such as your mood, budget, available time, group size, food preferences, and other requests, along with generated and saved plans.
- Your location, including device coordinates if you grant location permission, or a city you select, to suggest nearby activities. You can manage device location permissions in your device settings.
- Subscription and purchase status if paid features are enabled; purchases are handled by the applicable app store.
- Usage and technical information if analytics or diagnostic services are enabled.
- If you choose to connect WHOOP and the feature is enabled, health and fitness information such as sleep, recovery, and workouts, used to support the connected feature.
- Information you choose to share through group, household, or sharing features, if those features are enabled.
How information may be used
Sparq may use this information to authenticate users, generate and save plans, find relevant venues and weather, provide enabled features and subscriptions, maintain security, and operate and improve the app. Planning information may be sent to an AI service to generate suggestions. Avoid entering sensitive information in free-text requests unless you are comfortable with it being processed for that purpose.
Service providers and sharing
Depending on the release configuration, Sparq may use Supabase for authentication and backend services, OpenAI for AI-generated suggestions, Google services for places, OpenWeather for weather, RevenueCat and app stores for subscriptions, and PostHog for analytics. Optional integrations such as WHOOP may process information when you choose to connect them. These providers process information needed for their services under their own terms and privacy notices. Tech Harbor must confirm the actual providers and data flows before release.
If you share a plan or use a group feature, information you choose to share may be visible to the intended recipients. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
Retention periods, the account-deletion process, and any exceptions for backups, legal obligations, or security are still being reviewed. Removing the app does not necessarily delete information stored on servers or by service providers. You may contact Tech Harbor to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your information and about available choices.
Children
The intended audience and applicable age restrictions must be confirmed before this policy is finalized.
